En Selle ! C’est la Fête du cheval à Calas & la 63e Bénédiction des chevaux et des cavaliers / Tradition /
Youhouuuu c’est la Fête !!! On l’attendait la revoilà !!!
Après deux ans d’absence c’est le grand retour de la fête du cheval dans mon village à Calas-Cabriès les 16, 17 et 18 avril 2022 ! et la 63ème Bénédiction le Lundi de Pâques – En entrée libre et gratuite.
Ambiance country et provençale pour cette jolie fête familiale qui sera marquée cette année par le sceau de Charles de Batz de Castlemore d’Artagnan.
Elle nous avait bien manqué mais elle revient avec un programme vraiment Fantastique où l’on retrouvera les animations traditionnelles : Danses country, folkloriques, jeux taurins, spectacles équestres, chasse au trésor, ferme pédagogique … et des nouveautés comme l’Escape Game « La route d’Artagnan ». (voir programme détaillé en fin d’article ⇓)
Le temps fort de la Fête du Cheval reste pour ma Cigale la Bénédiction des chevaux et de leurs cavaliers le lundi de Pâques.
Cette tradition date de 1957. À cette époque les cavaliers et leurs montures venaient de toute la France, maintenant ils viennent principalement de Camargue et des proches villages de Provence.
🐎 Le rendez-vous est donné à partir de 11h dans la colline devant notre magnifique Chapelle typiquement provençale, Notre Dame de la Salette (exceptionnellement ouverte pour l’occasion). Ensuite chevaux et cavaliers, cavalières, vêtus de leurs habits traditionnels ou folkloriques, graviront la colline en procession une branche d’olivier à la main prêts à recevoir la traditionnelle bénédiction.
Un moment unique et champêtre que je partage joyeusement avec mes p’tits Cigalous.
Je vous conseille de ne pas arriver trop tard pour bien voir la cérémonie.
La Fête du cheval est une belle occasion de sortie en Famille où les p’tits Cigalous peuvent bien s’amuser. Ils retrouveront avec bonheur les animaux de la ferme, et la chasse aux trésors le dimanche à 15h (Pour les moins de 10 ans – sur inscription), sans oublier les petits manèges ;)
Escape Game « La Route de d’Artagnan » de la Fête du Cheval
Comme je vous l’annonçais les P’tits Cigalous pourront s’amuser et découvrir l’univers de d’Artagnan au travers d’un jeu collaboratif et coopératif.
Plongés au cœur d’une histoire passionnante, les joueurs devront faire preuve d’esprit d’équipe, de logique et de réactivité pour mener à bien leur mission avant la fin du compte à rebours.
Dimanche 17 et lundi 18 avril (horaires des sessions : 9h50 et 13h50) dans la tente escape game indiquée, située Plaine Saint-Martin.
Réservations obligatoires au 04 42 29 71 38 du mercredi au vendredi et au 06 70 12 29 26 durant le week-end.
2 groupe de 4 à 5 joueurs par session, durée d’une session 1h30 environ.
A partir de 9 ans accompagné d’un adulte

La Fête du cheval se déroule sur la vaste plaine Saint Martin à l’entrée du village de Calas (en venant de Marseille) et le parking est gratuit 👍
Conseil de Cigales : avec la sécheresse le terrain est assez poussiéreux, alors sortez vos bottes de cow-boy ou prévoyez des chaussures adaptées ;)
